FAO seeks to collaborate with governments, technical and knowledge networks, centers of excellence, universities and partners from the private sector willing to actively share their technical expertise and knowledge. Partners interested in showcasing their institutions and expertise in the areas of agriculture and food security, are encouraged to get in contact with FAO. 

The Organizations Profiles provides:

  • Information about Southern countries’ expertise and institutions in the realm of food security and agriculture;
  • a starting point through which countries can engage FAO to facilitate SSTC. Direct contact can be made with the focal point specified for the institution of interest, or FAO can be engaged to facilitate the partnership.
  • An overview of FAO-facilitated SSC initiatives.

    Guidelines for Organizations interested to showcase their institutions:

    • This request form should be completed by the organization/institution offering to showcase their organization 
    • The Organization’s profile and accompanying rosters of experts will need to be filled in and submitted (either through the online form available here or by downloading the form and submitting the completed form to [email protected] 
    • Subject to endorsement by FAO, the organization’s profile will be uploaded under the Organization’s Page on the SSTC Online Platform and kept for four (4) years.  The organizations are encouraged to provide technical support and participate in FAO's knowledge sharing initiatives, when and where needed.
    • The Organizations are expected to update their profiles periodically on the SSTC Online Platform. The focal point appointed by the Organization will have access to editing the information online. The changes will be effectuated once reviewed and confirmed by FAO Site Administrator.
    • The organizations shall contact FAO on completion of their fourth years should they seek a renewal for a further four (4) years
